MARGAO: Max Veterans grounded Canaginium Veterans 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the Flame of Unity Cup Football tournament, organized by Flame of Unity Club, Per-Seraulim, at Mabai ground, Per-Seraulim, on Tuesday. There was no score at half time.
Crossing over, Max Veterans broke the deadlock in the 47th minute through Patrciano Rodrigues’ half volley off an assist by Damaciano Fernandes.
Soon, Max Veterans scored their second goal through Damaciano.
