MARGAO: Cuncolim Union trounced Santa Cruz Club Cavelossim 3-0 to move into the semi-finals of the 6th Cuncolim Union Trophy, organized by Cuncolim Union in association with SCC Cavelossim, at Cuncolim ground, on Tuesday
Cuncolim Union dominated and scored through Daulat Dessai in the ninth minute.
Cavelossim tried to equalize but Aston Vaz’s effort in the 13th minute hit the upright.
Crossing over, Cuncolim Union Daulat secured his hat-trick with two quick goals.
First, Daulat unleashed a rasping shot in the 43rd minute and then dribbled past a couple of rival defenders and finished neatly for his hat-trick.
