MONTE-HILL-BENAULIM: Host Mix Friends Pedda defeated Young Challenger by solitary goal to enter the final of the Inter-Benaulim constituency 9-a side football tournament organised by Pedda Benaulim, at St. John the Baptist Church ground, Monte-Hill, Benaulim, on Saturday.
It was a thrilling encounter with Mixed Friends who enjoyed better ball possession and it was Jozwan who shot brilliantly to score the match winner for Mixed Friends off Asin’s assist.
Later in the 29th minute, Challenger’s Regy missed the rival target by a whisker.
Mixed Friends, Pedda will now meet Pedda Boys, Varca in the final on November 18.
