Nagoa Sporting Club defeated Milagres Sports Club 2-1 to move into the finals of 6th Rajasthan Marbles Trophy soccer tournament organised by Saligao United, at Dr Gustavo Monteiro stadium, Candolim on Tuesday.
Nagoa led 1-0 at half time. Nagoa began on a promising note and shot into lead in the 8th minute through Gaurish Naik.
Changing over, Milagres went into the attacking mode and found the equaliser immediately through Shailesh Misquin. With the scores level, Nagoa fought back and regained the lead through Adnan Beig in the 10th minute.
Trailing by a goal, Milagres went all-out in search of the equaliser but were unable to find the target.
