In the first half, Navelim missed a chance to score in the 17th minute as Rovan Pereira’s header missed the target Ambelim tried to break the deadlock but Donald Rocha’s effort was saved by the Navelim custodian.
Post resumption, in the 49th minute, Navelim were close to scoring but Avlon Gomes’ move was foiled by the defence of Ambelim.
Subsequently, Ambelim’s Jade Colaco, Alvito Colaco were left frustrated as their efforts did not materialize.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Navelim Sporting had the last laugh.
