PANJIM: Niraj Borkar won the chess tournament conducted for Pragati Vidyalay High School students organised by Pragati Vidyalay, Borim, recently.
Amogh Namshiker was the chess coach and arbiter. A total of 25 students took part in the camp and tournament.
The chief guest for the prize distribution was Mangala Bodke, Headmistress, of the school. Also present was Pramanand Kudalkar, PE teacher. Premanand Kudalkar compered and proposed vote of thanks.
The other prize-winners are Dipesh Naik (2nd), Vivek Dubey(3rd),Rasik Borkar(4th),Gaurisha Natekar(5th), Suprita Naik(6th, Rutik Gaonker(7th) and Sudarshan Desai(8th)
