PANJIM /CANSAULIM: Naresh Divkar scored a 90th minute match-winner to hand Odxel SC a 3-2 win over Vaddy SC in the GFA Second Division Ilhas Zone League match, played at Goa Velha ground, on Sunday.
Vaddy started the match on the front foot and took the lead in the 7th minute through Ramesh Priolkar.
After much probing, Odxel finally found the equaliser in the 37th minute through Vikhanth.
Crossing ends, Vishal gave Odxel a much deserving lead scoring at the hour mark to make it 2-1.
Down by a goal, Vaddy regrouped and levelled terms within seven minutes through Aniraj.
Just as it seemed the match was heading towards a draw, Naresh scored an injury time match winner to give full points to his team.
In Mormugao Zone, Mormugao United SC blanked Parish Youth Association, Consua 2-0 at Cansaulim ground.
There were no scores at half time.
In the second half, Mormugao opened the account through Noel D’Mello in the 78th minute.
Within ten minutes, Sachin Borkar doubled the account for Mormugao.
