DEUSSUA-CHINCHINIM: Our Lady Mother of the Poor High School, Tilamol registered a solitary goal win over Perpetual Convent High School, Navelim to move into the final of the St Joseph Vaz Soccer Cup, organised by Mount Mary’s Educational Complex, Chinchinim, at Our Lady of Hope Church ground, Chinchinim, on Monday.
Sergio Dias netted the match-winner in the 20th minute.
In the second semi-finals, Mount Mary’s High School, Chinchinim defeated Regina Martyrum High School, Assolna 4-2 via the tie-breaker to move into the final.
In the tie-breaker, Mount Mary’s HS, Chinchinim netted through Deepak, Sherio, Sidroy and Asriano while Zuwathi and Simeon scored for Regina Martyrum HS, Assolna.
The final will be played on January 16.
