LOUTOLIM: Orgao Seniors got the better of Excel Rovers, Vanxem 5-4 via the tie-breaker to advance into the next round of the 19th SWYAL CUP inter-ward football tournament, at Saviour of the World Church ground, Loutolim, on Sunday.
It was a hard fought battle played between both the teams missed many open chances to score the match winner.
In the penalty shoot-out, Jose, Godfrey Joao, Franky and Alfred scored for Orgao Seniors while Prisco, Glen, Ephraum and Charles scored for Excel Rovers, Vanxem.
In the second match, Vanxem Boys downed Holy Cross, Vanxem 3-0 to move into the next round.
In the second half, Vanxem Boys dominated the play and scored goals through Wilson and Kevin Paul who netted a brace.
