PANJIM: Our Lady of Divar High School, Divar won the inter-school football under 14 tournament organised by Our Lady of Merces High School, defeating St Cruz High School 2-0 in the final, at Merces church ground on Thursday.
Nikhil Gaude and Rudresh Navelker scored a goal each for the winners.
Earlier in the semi-finals, Our Lady of Divar defeated St Lawrence School, Agassaim 5-0 with Dylan Rodrigues scoring the hat-trick.
Chief guest Minister for Waste Management Micheal Lobo inaugurated the event. Headmaster John Fernandes of Our Lady of Merces School gave away the trophies and certificates to the winners and runners-up in the presence of officials and other dignitaries.
