MARGAO: Panchawadi United Sports Club got the better of Verna Sports Club 3-2 via tie-breaker to cruise into the semi-finals of all-Goa 43rd Custodio memorial inter-village football tournament organized by Raia Sporting Club, at Panchayat ground, Raia, on Sunday.
After a barren regulation time, Panchawadi United kept their cool in the penalty shoot-out and scored through Asyio Godinho, Archal Alvares and Rosefern Fernandes. Vijal Rego and Barry Rego found the mark for Verna.
