MAPUSA: Panjim Gymkhana overpowered Seiko Club by 59 runs to emerge victorious in the finals of Goa Cricket Association’s (GCA) Premier Division Cricket League, at GCA ground, Porvorim, Thursday.
Seiko won the toss and elected to field while their opponents posted a decent 193/5 in 27 overs with Swapnil Salvi top scoring with 81 runs.
In reply, Seiko were fumbled out for 134 in 22.2 overs. Darshan Misal pocketed three wickets for Panjim Gymkhana while Atish Gawand, Srinivas Fadte and Kevin D’Costa clinched two wickets each.
