AMBULOR-VERNA: Povocao Boys downed Mugrupoi Boys 1, 3-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the 4th United Boys of Ambulor inter-ward football tournament, at Verna panchayat ground, on Tuesday.

Povocao Boys opened their account through Alexinho’s grounder.
Later, Povocao’s Snehal chipped the ball over the rival keeper to make it 2-0.
Minutes later, Noel D’Silva powerful shot from wide range made it 3-0 for Povacao.
In the dying minutes, Alvito of Mugrupoi Boys ran down the wings and crossed the ball to Cleto to pull a consolation goal.
