PANJIM: Puskhar Prabhu hat-trick helped Khandepar Jumba Boys defeat Aldona Attackers 4-0 in the U-10 boys Vodafone GFDC Rising Stars Football Festival inter-centre league at Quitula ground.
Nishit Gaude scored the fourth goal. Pushkar was declared player of the match.
In the other matches, Aldona Shooters lost to Khandepar Shining Stars, 1-0 with the solitary goal coming from player of the match, Rohan Pereira.
In the Under 12 category, Khandepar Sharp Shooters went on to beat Aldona Whites, 3-2, with the help of an own goal and a brace from Shubam Kotarkar. Lynton Coelho pulled two back for Aldona but could not overcome the deficit. Harsh Parwat of Aldona was declared as the player of the match.
A triple strike from player of the match Akash Parwar propelled Aldona Yellow to a 3-0 victory over Khandepar Foot Fighters in the final match at the Quitla ground.
In the U-12 Girls category, at the AA De Moira ground, Ambitious A trashed Khandepar Nightingales A 6-0. Player of the match Sushmita Jadhav scored three goals while Divya Tueakar (2) and Alisha Fernandes scored one.
A brace from Rebecca Coelho aided Ambitious B down Khandepar Nightingales B, 2-0.
The player of the match award was given to Rebecca.
At the Don Bosco Farm High School Ground, Sulcorna, Red bulls Sulcorna edged past Benaulim St John, 1-0. Steve Menezes scored the only goal, while Godwin Simoes was adjudged as player of the match in the U-12 boys category.
Benaulim St. Sebastian beat Blue Tigers Sulcorna, 3-0, with a brace from player of the match Shubham More and a goal by Siegfred Mesquita
Benaulim Ave Maria Pearls and Benaulim Ave Maria Diamonds were granted a walk over and a 3-0 victory over White ducks and Sulcorna Silver Penguins respectively as both teams failed to report for the U-12 Girls matches.
In the U-10 boys category, Benaulim Fr Jose Vaz defeated Yellow Cheetahs, 2-0
Player of the match, Joshval Futardo and Nashvill Fernandes scored for Benaulim.
Benaulim St Anthony narrowly defeated Pink Panthers with a strike from Cristinho Fernandes. Callaghan Mascharenhas of Pink Panthers was awarded player of the match.
In the U-12 girls category at the Valpoi Centre, Navelim Young Strikers defeated Valpoi Unity Future Stars, 3-1. A hattrick from player of the match, Cia Almeida helped Navelim overcome Valpoi’s Lisfa Naikwadi’s early strike.
Valpoi Lourdes Future Stars prevailed over Navelim Super Sevens, 2-1 in the final match at Valpoi. The player of the match, Shaqeera Shaikh and Anita Dawangari scored for Valpoi while Muskan Mulla scored for Navelim.
