PANJIM: Raia FC made light work of Rossman Cruz Nagoa Verna 11-0 in the GFA U-14 League, at artificial turf ground, Fatorda, on Monday.
Chalton Coelho and Aniston D’Silva scored quadruple apiece and Monie Sanchez, Kayden Falero and Nipun Tete netted a goal each for the winning side in a totally one sided affair. At the break, the winners led 7-0.
In another match at Quepem ground, Tilamola United Sports Club registered an easy 9-1 win over United Club of Telaulim.
Daniel Fernandes was the star of the day for the winners as he netted four goals while there were four other scorers with Merick Peixoto scoring a brace and Prince Hilario, Sloawn Clemente, and Senoy Cruz registering their name on the scoresheet with a goal each.
For Telaulim, Vance Pereira reduced the deficit.
In another match at Duler Stadium, Anjuna Gymkhana and Arpora Sporting played out a 2-2 draw.
Nazir Ali scored a brace for Anjuna before Arpora our up a strong fight and restored parity scoring through Dhruv Kaskar and Sohan Nagvekar.
