Raia scored the first goal through Santan Furtado’s neat finish after a quick one-two between Alfred and Mathew which left rival keeper Jude Fernandes helpless.
Post resumption, Bruno Coutinho and Lino Pereira led the fight for the home team as they got the equalizer through Allwyn Fernandes to bring cheers in the stands.
Fausto Lobo came up with the assist.
However, the spirited Raia outfit regrouped and scored the second goal as Adrian Dias finished with a scorching out of the box strike, 2-1.
Raia were all pumped up and sealed the victory through Adrian’s brace after Thomas and Santan did the spadework.
Chief guest and wife of late Baptist Fernandes, the former Dempo Sports Club and India international footballer, Margaret Fernandes gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Fisheries Minister Avertano Furtado.
Individual prizes were also awarded to Best defender Baptist D’Souza, Best striker Santan Furtado (both Raia), Best midfielder Allwyn Fernandes and Player of the tournament Bruno Coutinho (both Bardez).
