PANJIM: Richylne Fernandes emerged winner in the football tie-breaker tournament for girls U-15 organised by Kaykee Youth Club, Dongorim-Majorda, recently. In all, 24 girls took part. Richylne defeated Valoshs Miranda by 2-1 goals, in the final to clinch the title.
Chief guest Majorda Sarpanch Anthea Periera, guest of honour St Anthony’s High School, Majorda, Headmistress Lauta Braganca distributed the prizes to the winner and runner-up. Earlier, Kaykee Youth Club Chairperson Anjulo Fernandes welcomed, while PE teacher Hari Kerkar proposed a vote of thanks.
