MAINA-CURTORIM: Rosary Navelim got the better of Aquem boys 4-3 via the tie-breaker and advanced into the quarter-finals of the 13th Rebello Pandal football tournament, organised by Rebello Pandel, Maina at Maina ground, on Wednesday.
Both teams came into the match with a cautious intent which resulted in a goalless full time draw. In the tiebreaker, Rosary Navelim scored through Rovan, Danston, Frehdan and Aston. While Aquem’s Romeo, Cidroy and Mabel scored.
