MAPUSA: Vinit Nadkarni(PBCB) defeated Gaurish Talwar(MBBC) in the Elite men category of Goa State Boxing Championship, organised by Goa Boxing Association, at the Boxing hall, Peddem, Mapusa, on Wednesday.
In the Junior Boys category, Laxman Lamani(STJ), Mohammed Amin(PBC), Jeet Sukumar Roy(RPBC), Ratesh Redkar(STJ) were the winners.

Akash(STJ), Sujit Shah(PBCB), Mohammed Rehan(SPBC),Arjun Gupta(STJ),Prajwal Badiger(STJ)and Ashish Indwar(MBC) prevailed in the Sub Junior category.
Sagar Rathod (RPBC) and Govind Pandit (MBBC) won their respective bouts in the Cadet boys category.
Earlier the association inaugurated their official office of Boxing Association by chairman, Rules and Technical Commission, Boxing Federation of India, and vice president of Goa Boxing Association, Lenny D’Gama; wife of Chief Minister Sulakshana Sawant, MD Veritas Sports, Nikhil Sen with office furniture and technology spo speed by well wishers of Boxing in Goa.
It was also a prestigious evening after a modified logo of Goa Boxing Association was unveiled that now has a male and female boxer that resonates equality in the sport and moving forward in time with a stylised version created by Alecstor Silveira.
