NAVELIM: Rossman Cruz Nagoa-Verna blanked Young Strikers Benaulim 4-0 to move into the semi-finals of the Gold/Silver Trophy played at Navelim Rosary ground, on Thursday.
Rossman Cruz had the first best through striker Savio Fernandes long ranger but hit the Benaulim cross bar and went out of play in the 5th minute.
On the other end, Benaulim through Aliston Fernandes should have netted but Christo De Mello foiled the latter’s move in the 10th minute.
Rossman Cruz later changed the game plan and went all out to net four quick goals, first came from the boots of Clive Coelho in the 17th minute.
Clive further inflated the lead in the 19th minute. After that Noel D’Silva and Razor Braganza too recorded their name on the score sheet to make it 4-0.
