UC Orlim, PVC Parra score big wins

PANJIM: United Club of Orlim recorded a resounding 4-1 win over United Club of Benaulim in the Goa Football Association Third Division League match played at Benaulim ground, on Thursday.
There were no goals in the first session of the play. 
Crossing over, Melbourne Carvalho scored the first of the day in the 47th minute. However, Stanley Fernandes restored parity in the 53rd minute. Minutes later, Melbourne added his second before scoring two more to take the final tally to 4-1.
In another match played at Chandor Church ground, Maina Sports Club hit Uguem Rising Club for a tennis score 6-2.
Aleeward scored the first in the 15th minute which turned out to be the only goal of the first half for Maina Sports Club.
Maina SC scored their second at the hour mark through Grevilo Lima before Aleeward scored his second. Mackenzie pulled a goal back for Uguem in the 72nd minute.
Merlino Fernandes scored the fourth before Aleeward scored the fifth and completed his hat-trick in the 81st minute. Ashely Carvalho pulled another goal back for Uguem however, Aleeward scored his fourth and team’s sixth in the dying minutes of the game.
Parish Youth Nuvem scored a fluent 6-0 win over Maharudra SC at Raia ground.
Francis Colaco scored a brace while Swindon D’Silva, Max Colaco, Cedar Colaco and Denikson Dias were the other goal scorer for the winners. The winners led 3-0 at the breather.
Sirvodem Sports Club and Sporting Club of Davorlim played out a goalless draw at the Artificial Turf ground, Fatorda.
At Assonora ground, two second-half strikes from Chandan Govekar and Vijet Salgaocar helped Bidesh XI score a fluent 2-0 win over Goan Warriors FC.
At Anjuna ground, PVC Parra thumped Verem United SC 8-1.
Shadab Shaikh and Amar Kasar scored a brace each for the winners while Clayton Dias, Francisco Fernandes and Joaquim were the other goal scorers. Frazer Fernandes scored the consolation for the losing side.
Meanwhile Bastora United SC defeated Guirim YCSC 2-1. Yuvraj Palyekar and Nelson Monteiro scored for Bastora while Thome Alvares netted for Guirim.
Yallapa Satyappago was the hero for Chapora Yuvak Sangh as the striker scored all the three goals in his side’s 3-0 win over Sai Avatar SC.
