Royal Wahingdoh ready to loan out players

MUMBAI: Royal Wahingdoh, the surprise package of this season’s I-League is all set to allow its players to take part in the Indian Super League (ISL).
The newbies, who now sit in the third position of the table, have impressed the football fraternity in their debut season and IMG-Reliance are eager to lure in a number of their players for the second edition of the Indian Super League.
“We have had talks with them about loaning players. We don’t have any problem about the idea. The formalities are yet to be done though,” a top official of the club said.
When asked the names of the players who may feature in the glamorous league, the official hinted that most of the regular players have been offered deals.
“I think it’s a no-brainer. Many of the regular players have been approached,” he added.
According to him, the club is more concerned to see its players being regular on the pitch than they care about the relief that the ISL stints bring on the wage bills of the outfit.
If the Royal players go on to take part in the new league, the likes of Jackichand Singh and Seityasen Singh are expected to be hot property.
