Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao downed Arpora Sporting Club 1-0 in 13th Arpora Sporting Soccer inter-village football tournament at Salt Lake grounds Arpora on Friday.
The all-important goal was scored by striker Nilesh Divkar in the 15th minute.
Striker Pradip Chopdekar of Arpora missed a chance to equalise in the 25th minute as his 17-yard free kick sailed inches over the crosspiece.
The second half was dominated by Arpora, but they could not get past the Taleigao defence.
