PANJIM, APRIL 22
Sai Avtar, Anjuna registered a fluent 4-1 win over Friends XI, Vaddem to move into the semi-finals of 24th Jaidev Gopal Kanekar memorial soccer tournament at Sanquelim ground, on Thursday. Anjuna led 2-1 at the breather.
Saprem Diukar of Sai Avtaar scored in the 9th and 20th minutes while George D’Souza reduced the margin for Vaddem in the 28th minute.
Changing over, Shekar Kerkar and Thomas Costa increased the tally for Anjuna.
