PANJIM: SAI Training Centre downed Sporting Clube de Goa 2-1 in the Goa Football Association U-16 League, at Don Bosco ground, Panjim, on Tuesday.
SAI led 2-0 at the break with Om T and Sajeet Toppo scoring a goal each.
In the second half, Sporting Clube de Goa tried their best to reduce the margin and managed to score through Roy D’Souza in the 81st minute.
Though they made last ditch attempts to find the equaliser, SAI defence managed to hold on to the slender lead till the final whistle.
