Ameya Kanadikart scored an early goal for Salgaocar FC in the 7th while Velsao Pale SC soon came in with an equaliser through the boots of Alloid Colaco in the 15th minute and the match went back to where it began.
It was a tough fight and Velsao Pale SC shocked their rivals with yet another goal through Meuton Fernandes in the 38th minute to get the desired lead.
Salgaocar FC struggled for a while as they trailed by a goal however it was Movin Caocar who gave Salgaocar their much needed equaliser just before the half-time whistle.
Post resumption, Salgaocar FC came with full force as Ameya Kanadikart scored yet another beautiful goal to complete his brace and give his team the lead in the 67th minute.
Kenneth Costa then drove the final nail into the coffin in the 73rd minute to take the score tally to 4-2.
At Navelim ground, the match between CRSC Navelim and Navelim Villagers Union ended 3-3 draw.
