PANJIM: Salgaocar Football Club came from behind to beat FC Goa in the Hero Sub Junior League played at Ambelim ground, on Thusrday.
FC Goa dominated the first session and successfully took the lead in the 35th minute. Stung by reverse, Salgaocar FC regrouped quickly and attacked in numbers but the goal eluded them.
Crossing over, Salgaocar FC came with an instant reply, as Shane Fernandes restored parity in the 45th minute.
Salgaocar FC continued their pursuit in hunt for the goal and they managed to take the lead against FC Goa in the 55th minute as Ashony Gomes scored the goal, which proved to be the match-winner.
