MAPUSA: Saligao Sporting Club edged past Dunes SC 5-4 via the sudden-death to advance into the quarter-finals of the Anjuna Gymkhana Soccer Cup, at Tembi ground, on Tuesday.
The teams trid hard but none could break the deadlock at the end of regulation time and the tie-breaker came into play where Naizi, Craig, Andrew, Augustin and Uday Naik scored for Saligao Sporting while Shashank, Glenson, Niraj and Hari shot on target for Dunes.
