RAIA: SC Davorlim registered a solitary goal win over St Anthony’s Sports Club, Assolda to enter the quarter-finals of the 16th super soccer tournament, organised by United Club of Benaulim, at St John the Baptist Dando ground, Benaulim, on Wednesday.
The lone goal of the match came early in the eighth minute, with Roysten scoring for the winners leaving Assolda trailing and demoralized. However, Assolda managed to regain control, with players like Briven Dias and Vale Fernandes asserting their influence in the midfield, preventing Davorlim from adding to their lead in the first half.

The second-half witnessed Assolda’s dominance, particularly Vitorino causing trouble for Davorlim’s defense. Unfortunately for Assolda, Sydney was shown a red card for a handball offense. Roysten Colaco’s outstanding performance earned him the title of man-of-the-match, awarded by Tenison Rosa.
