CHINCHINIM: Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim shot-out St Anthony SC, Marna-Siolim 8-7 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the 21st Our Lady of Merces football tournament organised by Sirlim Sports Club, at Our Lady of Hope Chinchinim church ground, on Wednesday.
Sherwin Lobo opened the account for Siolim in the 20th minute.
Within a minute, Allan Fernandes equalised for Cavelossim.
Seven minutes later, Sherwin Lobo doubled the lead for Siolim but the joy was short-lived as Leadro Fernandes levelled terms for Cavelossim in the 46th minute.
In the resultant tie-breaker, SCC Cavelossim proved to be the better shooters.
