PANJIM: St Francis Xavier School, Siolim humbled Our Lady of Health, Cuncolim 7-3 to win 14th All-Goa 7-a-side under-14 inter-school Bro Paulus Moritz, CMSF memorial football tournament organized by Anthonians Past Pupils Association, at St Anthony High Schol ground, Duler, Mapusa, recently.
It was a one sided affair with Prakshay Simepuruskar, the star player for SFX scoring four goals.
Earlier in the semi finals, SFX Siolim defeated St Xavier high School, Moira and Our Lady of Health; Cuncolim defeated St Britto High School, Mapusa.
Prakshay was adjudged Best player while the most promising player award went to Rohan Rodrigues of Our Lady of Health, Cuncolim.
Sandeep Falari, chairperson of Mapusa Municipal Council was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of headmaster Bro Joy, CMSF Michael Carassco and other dignitaries.
