PANJIM: Jetty Cricket Club, Vasco will organize their 11th 20-overs All-Goa Jetty Trophy cricket tournament from February 4 at MPT ground, Vasco.

Two matches will be played daily. The winners and runners-up will be awarded Rs 25,000 and Rs 16,000 respectively along with trophies besides individual prizes. Teams and players who played in GCA’s Goa Professional League 2010-11 are not eligible. Entries will be restricted to 16 teams. Cricket scorers meeting
PANJIM: The GCA will organise a scorers meet at GCA, Porvorim on January 26 at 10.30 a.m. Those interested in becoming qualified scorers between 20 and 55 and those already qualified have been asked to attend it. They have been asked to submit two passport size photographs along with attested copy of birth certificate to Desh Kinlekar (9422062806) for registration. Meanwhile, the BCCI scorers examination will be held next year.
TT talent search in Margao
PANJIM: BPS Sports Club, SAG and GTTA will launch the Lenie Do Rosario ‘Lenz Initiative’ talent search on January 29 at 9 a.m. at BPS Club, Margao. Schools may send children born on or after January 1, 2002. Entries giving details may be sent to [email protected] or SMS to 9822176086.
The objective is to spot new talent in TT with a view to nurturing them to perform at an optimum level within the next two to three years.
