After winning the toss, SS Angle decided to field first. KB HS scored 131/7 with Saiesh Kamat’s 28-ball 45 which included three sixes. Manish Naik Gaonkar (28), Sairaj Dhuri (19), Harshad Gaonkar (18) added vital runs.
Gauresh Gosavi of SS Angle took two wickets while Shivam, Sajit, Aman and Cleston took one wicket each.
In reply, SS Angle scored 132/2 in 16 overs with a 100 run partnership for the second wicket between Shivam Varik (53) and Aman Komarpant (50). Sairaj Gaonkar scored 20 runs. The chief guest was Bhushan Prabhugaonkar, Sarpanch village panchayat Loliem, former ZP member Daya Pagi; deputy sarpanch Ashutosh Bandekar; panch member Santan Costa, Virendra Naik, Elves Fernandes.
CSA president Janardhan Bhandari welcomed. Nilesh Prabhudesai proposed the vote of thanks. Venkatrai Naik compered.
Individual prizes were awarded to Man-of-the-Tournament Manish Naik Gaonkar of KB school, Man-of-the-Match and Man-of-the-Final Aman Komarpant of SS Angle HSS, Best Batsman of the tournament Shivam Varik of SS Angle HSS and Best bowler of the tournament Pravesh Pagi of KB Vidyalaya.
