St Anthony’s SC, Chauder (Nautat) defeated Zamboll Boys 1-0 to move into the finals of Cortalim inter-ward soccer tournament organised by St Michael SC, Arvalle. There was no score at the interval.
St Anthony’s dominated and scored in the 2nd half through Nestad Mendis. Zamboll Boys tried hard to find the net but St Anthony’s defence led by Nicolas gave no chance to the strikers.
Nestad could have doubled the score for St Anthony’s but he shot wide from close range after dribbling past the rival defenders.
