In the first quarter, both the teams played an attacking football. St Anthony Marna SC in the 25th minute had the first look at goal through Edrich Fernandes, who shot straight into the rival goal off an assist by Sherwin Lobo.
Chandor SC in the 28th minute missed a golden chance to score through Sunny Fernandes, as he shot wide, off a pass by Jerry.
Crossing over, Chandor SC dominated the proceedings and equalised in 38th minute through Joseph Fernandes’ rasping shot, which sailed straight into the net of St Anthony Marna SC off an assist by Rosario Fernandes.
Thereafter, both the teams tried to score the match winner but the defence thwarted each other’s moves till the end of regulation time, settling for a 1-1 draw.
In the resultant tie-breaker, St Anthony Marna SC were on target through Claudio Rodrigues, Anthony D’Souza and Vipul Pednekar while Joseph Fernandes and Seby Fernandes netted for Chandor SC.
The winners were awarded Rs 40,000 plus trophy while runners-up collected Rs 30,000 plus trophy.
Other individual prizes awarded were: best discipline team United Club of Nerul, inaugural goal Jayendra Narendra (Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao), best goalkeeper Glen Braganza (Mormugao United and Cultural SC), best defender Merwin Telis (Navelim Villagers Union), best half Hanslum Furtado (Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda), best forward Agnelo Colaco (Sporting Club Davorlim), first hat-trick Soccoro Fernandes (Chandor SC), Man-of-the-Match Rosario Fernandes (Chandor SC), most promising player Salim Shirodkar, best goalkeeper Sahil Chari, best defender Vinay Pednekar, best forward Sherwin Lobo (all St Anthony Marna SC, Siolim), best half Seby Fernandes (Chandor SC).
Malky Thomson, head coach of Salgaocar Football Club, was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Fr Erodiano Fernandes and Velim Constituency MLA Benjamin Silva.
Earlier, James Gomendes welcomed the guests. Nanush Rodrigues compered while Ozie Da Costa proposed the vote of thanks.
