PVC Association began the match on an attacking note and came close to scoring on a couple of occasions but their forwards failed. Savio Vaz saw his effort hit the crossbar and go out of play while Atish Morajkar missed an easy sitter minutes later.
Changing over, St Anthony’s Sports Club got their act together and took the lead in the 40th minute with Ryan D’Souza finding the net beating the PVC Association keeper with a sublime finish.
Down by a goal, PVC Association fought back and drew level with Joaquim Pacheco doing the spade work.
Sherwin Lobo and Sangam Pednekar combined well to score the match-winner for St Anthony Sports Club in the 58th minute.
