BAINA-VASCO: St Caitan, Merces defeated Dazzling Boys, Mapusa by 4 wickets in the final of the late Santosh Salgaocar T-20 leather ball cricket tournament, organised by Shrawani Sports and Cultural Club, at Vasco Baina MPT ground, recently.
Riyaz Kadri was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners up in the presence of Sanjiv Asplkar, Chandrashekar Tendulkar, Yogesh Pednekar, Sainath Padwal, Shekar Pillai, Suresh Lamani and other dignitaries.
Scores in brief: Dazzling Boys, Mapusa: Shubham Chari 36(28), Ninad Pawaskar 29 (18), Rahul Keni 27 (17).
