The teams started the game on a cautious note and as the match progressed, St Rock took over the control as Curtorim Gymkhana took time to settle down.
Crossing over, Curtorim Gymkhana continued their attacking game and in the 35th minute striker Clinton bulged the net to break the deadlock and St Rock played with confidence there on.
Stung by the setback, Curtorim Gymkhana raised the tempo and fired a couple of pots shots against the rival citadel. They had their share of chances but their strikers lacked sharpness in fornt of the rival goal and either shot wide or straight into the keeper.
