United Club of Nerul defeated Candolim Sports Club by a solitary goal to move into the finals of Rajasthan Marbles Trophy football tournament organised by Saligao United at Dr. Gustavo Monteiro Stadium, Candolim, on Tuesday.
United Club of Nerul scored an early goal in the 9th minute through Royston Pereira which ultimately proved to be the match-winner.
Candolim tried to come on level terms but their forwards failed to score.
United Club of Nerul will now take on United Boys of Dando, Colva in the finals on April 14.
