RAIA: In a thrilling football match, United SC Seraulim edged past United Club Nerul 2-1 and secured their spot in the final of the inter-village football tournament, organised by St Sebastian UC Benaulim, at Dando ground, Benaulim, on Thursday.
Nerul took the lead in the 28th minute with a goal from Sanket Jotkar, dominating the first half. However, coach Kennedy Noronha changed the game plan by placing Mohsin Sayyed. Seraulim displayed determination after halft-ime, Mohsin Sayyed equalised in the 50th minute for Seraulim. Senetro Fernandes of Seraulim secured the lead in the 58th minute.
