PANJIM: V M Salgaocar College, Mira Mar clinched the team championship at the third inter-collegiate bodybuilding championship organized by Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim in collaboration with Maxsan Fitness Hub, under the aegis of Goa Body Building and Fitness Association (GBBFA), at Navelim, recently.
Avidh Morajkar of V M Salgaocar College was adjudged Best Poser while Rohitesh Manjrekar of Fine Arts College, Panjim was declared Champion of Champions.
Chief guest President of GBBFA Sanjay Patil inaugurated the event along with Principal Fr Dr Simao Diniz, Vice-Principal Dr Savio Falerio, Physical Director Dr Francis Lobo, Sanitary Inspector MMC Viraj Arabekar, Santosh Mapsekar, Tulshidas Shetkar and Ravi Dessai.
A total of 40 bodybuilders from various colleges participated and were presented with participation certificates. The winners were awarded trophies, certificates and medals.

Results: 55kg: First place Shubham Gauns, Don Bosco College, Panjim; Second Suresh Rathod, Rosary College, Navelim; 3rd Armstrong D’Souza, Don Bosco Engineering, Fatorda.
60kg: First Suraj Kunkolkar, Fr Agnel, Pilar; Second Natish Gaude, Don Bosco College, Panjim, Third Gauresh Gawas, Don Bosco Engineering, Fatorda.
65kg: First Ancil Mascarenhas, Rosary College, Navelim; Second Avidh Morajkar, V M Salgaocar College; Third Mahendra Naik, Kare College, Margao.
70kg: First Auril Vaz, Don Bosco Engineering, Fatorda; Second Pritesh Khorjuvekar, V M Salgaocar; Third Omkar Desai, CES Cuncolim.
