CURTORIM: Vasco Veterans defeated Loutolim Veterans 5-4 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the Curtorim Veterans football tournament at DYSA Curtorim ground, on Wednesday.
Jerry Fernandes opened the scoring for Loutolim Veterans in the 27th minute but their joy was short lived as Luis Cardozo equalised for Vasco in the 49th minute.
In the ensuing tie-breaker Vincent Colaco, Shaik Abo, Uday Naik and Vishant Pednekar netted for Vasco Veterans while
Augustine, Joao and Jerry scored for Loutolim Veterans.
