In the Women’s final, Panjim Softballers defeated People High School, Panjim 3-2 while in the Men’s category, VGS, Kerem defeated Softball Lovers, Chorao on toss as they were level by 4-4 homes.
Individual prizes were awarded to following players in the Women’s category. Best pitcher: Lavisha Chodankar, Best catcher: Disha, Best fielder: Shaheen Shaikh, Best hitter: Mamta and Best player: Libani Naik.
In the Men category, Best Pitcher: Amey Bhandari, Best catcher: Nandakumar, Best fielder: Vishal Kerkar, Best hitter: Amit Surlikar and Best player: Sandeep Naik.
St Andre Zilla Panchayat Member, Dhaku Madkaikar was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of the other dignitaries. In all, 26 teams participated.
