MAPUSA: Viscount HS Pernem defeated Lokshikshan HS Dhargal by 120 runs to advance ahead in the U-16 Boys GCA Shri Dilip Sardessai tournament, organised by GCA Pernem Zone, at Varkhand ground, Pedne, on Sunday.
Viscount HS Pernem won the toss and elected to bat where they scored 188/10 in 29 overs.
Viraj Viraj Naik 64(83), Shreyash Naik 29(31) and Pushparaj Satardekar 25(17) were the top run getters.
Janu Varak scalped four wickets while Vithal picked up two wickets.
In reply, Lokshikshan HS, Dhargal were bundled out for 68 in 18.4 overs
Jaikant Parab 15(20), Vithal Salgaonkar 14(18), Patrik Mopkar 10(25) were the only top scorers.
Aryan Vengulekar claimed a five-wicket haul while Sunny Shetye and Rugved Raul picked up two wickets for the winners.
