MARGAO: Duathlon event Vorrad 4.0, 6:60 consisting of 60km cycling and 6km of beach run was organised by Propedalerz Cycling Club, Margao, at Benaulim beach, recently.
A total of 175 participants started and completed the event, youngest being 11 years old Ankita Naik (supported by parent) and oldest being Alan Abreo, 65 years old, who were presented medal.

Under the club’s theme of ‘Towards A Healthier Bliss’, participants took on the challenge of completing both cycling and running segments, testing their endurance, agility and determination. From seasoned athletes to first-time participants, individuals of all skill levels came together to push their limits and celebrate the joy of sport.
The event was flagged off by marathoner, ultra and trail runner and yoga instructor from Margao Preyasee Chari in presence of Brig Arvinder Singh Sawhney, Commandant 2 STC, Goa.
The event brought together athletes and enthusiasts from across the State.
