TALEIGAO: Young Boys of Tonca scored an injury time goal through Salu Santos to hold Bhagwati Sports Club to a 2-2 draw in the Goa Football Association Second Division League Ilhas Zone match played at Taleigao ground, on Wednesday.
After playing end to end football in the initial stages, Valerian Rodrigues put Young Boys of Tonca ahead in the 25th minute.
But that turned out to be the only action of the game. Besides YBT’s Valerian Rodrigues and Ra Mardolkar were flashed with two yellow cards in the first session for as YBT led 1-0 at the breather.
Crossing over, Rahul Gawas and Rajesh Kankonkar scored a goal each in a span of two minutes in the 73rd and 75th minutes respectively as Bhagwati SC went ahead 2-1.
However, YBT’s constant efforts to find the equaliser paid off in the dying minutes of the game as Salu smashed in a 90+1st minute leveller to share the points.
