PANJIM: SCC Cavelossim suffered their second consecutive defeat following their 1-3 loss against Youth Club of Manora at Ambelim ground.
Imansab Guledgudda scored a brace netting a goal in either half to help Manora record their first win of the campaign.
Jouston Barbosa was the other goal scorer for the winning team. Denson Fernandes pulled a goal back for the losing side.
YC Manora’s Hilton Fernandes and Imansab were cautioned by the referee.
Manora’s Imansab was named the man-of-the-match.
Meanwhile at Ella ground, Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao scored a thrilling 3-2 win over Dempo Sports Club Juniors.
Taleigao led 3-0 at the break. Newton Azavedo gave Taleigao the lead in the 13th minute before Philip doubled the tally in the 21st minute. Philip inflated the lead just before the breather to make it 3-0 and complete his brace.
Crossing over, Dempo SC Juniors took control of the match and pulled two goals back through Altroy Rodrigues and Rayan Pinto but their efforts to find the equaliser went in vain as their strikers fumbled chances upfront in the dying minutes of the game.
