It has been noticed that poor quality roads in my village are causing problem for the locals. Driving or riding along treacherous parts of my village is turning to be a deathtrap especially during monsoons. Most of the roads have been resurfaced with potholes creating bad roads for the commuters. The condition of the roads is severely deteriorated and mud patch work have sunk due to the ongoing monsoons. Thus the potholes are filled with water and when it rains it is difficult to see the depth of the hole which causes harm to the locals and the vehicles.
The potholes are neglected by the authorities in spite of we paying taxes and fees to the government. The locals are forced to suffer with the problem of pathetic road conditions and these roads are prone to accidents. Something earnestly has to be done for the safety of the people.
