Following an order from the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Margao, Cuncolim PI Ram Asre has registered offences under sections 452, 427, 352, 506, 380 read with 149 IPC against PI Raju Raut Desai, a PSI and police constables, besides four persons Madhu Naik and Kamlakant Naik both brothers of complainant M Naik and their wives Kamal Naik and Rajeshree Naik all residing at Damani-Cuncolim in common ancestral house. PI Raju Raut Desai, the PSI and police constables were all working at Cuncolim police station at the time of the incident on 18-9-2012.
The complainant had approached the JMFC court to the effect that on 18-9-2012 at about 11 am, accused Madhu, Kamlakant along with their wives Kamal and Rajeshree, who stay in a common ancestral house, along with PI Desai, the PSI and police officials working at the relevant time at Cuncolim police station, with common object criminally trespassed in complainant’s room and removed her belongings. The complainant further alleged that PI Dessai damaged cupboard causing the complainant loss of Rs 5,000. It was further alleged that the two brothers Madhu, Kamlakant and their wives Kamal and Rajeshree along with accused PI Dessai use to assault the complainant and further that PI Dessai threatened to beat and arrest the complainant, and is also alleged to have taken away key of her room. Further investigation is being conducted by PI Asre.
