CHORAO: Livra Cricketers of Pandavwaddo, Chorao got the better of Om Sai Boys by nine wickets to clinch the All-Goa limited overs cricket tournament trophy, organized by Devil Boys of Chorao, at Livra ground, Karabhat, here, recently.
Livra Cricketers were awarded Rs 8,000 and a trophy while Om Sai Boys had to be content with Rs 4,000 and a trophy.
Individual prizes were awarded to Man-of-the-Match: Sagar Kandolkar (Livra Cricketers) and Best bowler: Ajay Naik (Om Sai Boys).
Social worker from Mayem, Santosh Sawant was the chief guest and gave the prizes in the presence of Panch Salvador D’Cruz, ex-Sarpanch Kamlakant Wadyenkar, Dilip Kandolkar, Joaquim Fernandes.
Sail Dalvi welcome while Sayeesh Homkhandi compered and later proposed the vote of thanks.
In all, 16 teams participated in the tournament.
